Jungle Vanitas – Silk accessories by Jean Boggio for Franz.
‘Jungle Vanitas’ is the name given to the latest Jean Boggio for Franz accessories collection. Ties, pocket handkerchiefs and a whole range of stoles, scarves and headscarves are adorned with an array of conceits, inspired and reworked by the Jungle Mania theme that has made such a name for Jean Boggio for Franz. The iconic, almost ‘addictive’ motif of the death’s head breaks free and rediscovers its love for life. Driving the point home is an exuberant décor of verdant, lush vegetation. The screen-printed skulls sported by these accessories are a veritable humanist battle-cry, their leitmotiv: ‘Life is for living!’. Made by the prestigious luxury goods name Brochier Soiries, these limited edition velvet, silk and silk crepe designs are sold exclusively at the Maillol museum, during the exhibition Les Vanités du Caravage à Damien Hirst.
